New Contract Awarded “Media Cooling System for South II CCPP, Isfahan, Iran”
The contract of “engineering, equipment supply, construction, installation and commissioning of the inlet air cooling system of two class F gas turbine units of South-II power plant was awarded to Rahavard Energy Company. The client of the project is MAPNA Turbine Engineering and Construction Company (TUGA) and the owner of the power plant is Mobarakeh Steel Company of Isfahan.
The South-II power plant is under construction at the Mobarakeh steel factory, which will finally have two MGT80- class F gas turbine units (Made by MAPNA Group) each one with a rated power of 308 MW in ISO conditions.
By equipping the aforementioned GTs with turbine inlet air cooling system (MEDIA), part of the lost power of the turbine will be recovered in the summer season.
