New contract awarded: TIAC system for a Turbo-compressor in a natural Gas storage station

The EPC contract of Turbine Inlet Air Cooling (TIAC) system for a SUMMY-ZORYA 25MW Turbocompressor was awarded to Rahavard by the Iranian Gas Transmission company (IGTC).

The proposed TIAC system is an upstream evaporative media cooling system and the client (IGTC) has decided to evaluate the performance of this system on gas Turbocompressors for the first time in Iran through this project.

Serajeh natural gas storage station located in Qom province with a hot & dry climate. The purpose of this project is to enhance the Turbocompressor output power and efficiency during the hot hours.

Turbine Inlet Air Cooling Technologies (TIAC) Gas turbines output power decreases with respect to ISO design condition when ambient temperature rises significantly.
